Criterion joins the Sustainable Restaurant Association!
On: 2010-07-29 13:33:00
Criterion Restaurant is proud to be a member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association. As a member we will be looking at ways to make our restaurant more sustainable in terms of sourcing, society and the environment. We think we have a good start on food sourcing as we buy British wherever possible; our meat comes from individual farmers in Cumbria and Scotland, our fish comes from a small village in Cornwall and our menu is conceived using seasonal fresh produce to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure a quality product. We can always improve though so we will update you of our progress. For more information on sustainability go to www.thesra.org
